I haven't introduced myself on here for a while so I thought I'd do that again. A big warm hello to all of you! My name is Kristin and I'm the girl who had the dream to start Terroir Chocolate.
When I was eighteen, attending a yearlong Pastry and Baking course in Scottsdale, Arizona, I fell in love with the world of chocolate and the endless creative possibilities that it offered. Fast forward 8 years and enter my husband, Josh, who helped me realize my dream career in 2013, when we decided to go for it and start Terroir Chocolate.
My role has had many transformations over that last 9 years of owning our own bean-to-bar chocolate company. I spend most of my days, in this season, as CEO of our home with our two little ones - and love it. My chocolate work blocks usually include spending time on anything that might make your experience with our chocolate better - from designing concepts for a new chocolate bar stand to dreaming up how to improve our chocolate bars, to figuring out how to ship chocolate in the summer, to finding the best source for the ingredients that make up our chocolate bar line.
For me, what I do is so much more than just a job, it's something I picture myself doing for years to come because it allows me to be creative. I am passionate about food and then get to share my gifts with you, and I honestly couldn't imagine doing anything else. I'm also a gal who loves the outdoors and you can find me hiking, biking, or xc skiing or maybe trying to walk/run pushing a double stroller in my free time.
